This privacy policy applies to all divisions of Power I.D. GmbH, which owns the internet pages of the company as well as our Power I.D. online platform. As far as both offers are concerned, they are summarized as "our online offers".

2. Cookies

Cookies are tiny text files that are stored on a user’s browser. They are widely used by websites and servers. Most cookies contain a unique identification number called a cookie ID: a string of characters that websites and servers associate with the browser on which the cookie is stored. This allows websites and servers to distinguish the browser from other browsers that store different cookies. A browser can be recognized by its unique cookie ID.

The platform under the domain name app.powerid.de uses its own technically necessary cookies as to distinguish registered users from non-registered users.

Furthermore, may possibly be used third-party cookies of third-party providers whose contents we use on our company website and our platform. These providers are specifically listed in this privacy policy.

The User has the option of rejecting the use of these cookies by deactivating acceptance of cookies in the user’s browser. Cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time. This is supported by all common browsers.

The use of our corporate website is usually possible with any restrictions without the disclosure of personal information.

For the use of our online platform, the processing of personal data is inevitable.

Personal Data is any information that relates to an identifiable individual such as your name, address, phone number or your e-mail address. Personal data is only collected when you contact us and provide these data to us via phone, e-mail, webchats, completion of forms, through registration or contractual relation.

Specifically, we collect and process the following personal data:

• Company name, qualification data, job header, contact (postal and email)

• If you have created a user profile on the online platform: access data, payment details, contract information and history, references, messages, forum posts, business event attendance, photographs, team and project membership, connection to other users within the online platform.

The data collection is carried out by communication of the user or user input; a supplement by us does not take place, except in the context of the perception of your data protection rights. Likewise, there is no enrichment or merger with other data, neither by us nor by third parties, except by your express consent.

This data is not disclosed to third parties except in the context of compliance with legal obligations or existing permission for billing purposes and not exploited beyond their own business relationship.

This data are not accessible for third parties. Regarding the use of the online platform, these data are not visible to other users Unless you have released them yourself, or you have been given prior consent in the context of the compilation of project teams.

If you have access data to the online platform, these are also not visible to us or to by us commissioned companies.

A transfer of the data to a co-partner or partner of Power I.D. GmbH does not take place unless one of the above-mentioned exceptions applies and the transfer serves the stated purpose.

The basis for this processing of personal data is Article 6 (1) lit. a, b and f DSGVO. A "legitimate interest" within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO is given if the person concerned is a customer of Power I.D. GmbH.

There is no automated decision-making pursuant to Art. 22 DSGVO. We do not pursue direct advertising.

3.1 Data import via social media interfaces

Provided that you have explicit consent, you, as a registered user of the platform, have the opportunity to initiate the platform to import personal data from your other third-party online profiles (currently LinkedIn.com and XING.com) into your user account.

The data processing is limited to name and address data, company names, qualification data, job titles, contact options (postal and electronic) and photographs. During the process you can decide yourself which of these data should be saved.

To use this feature, you also need to enter authentication data once, but we do not store it. The basis for this processing of personal data is Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Further data is not affected and will not be processed.

3.2 Your rights

Persons affected by the processing of personal data have a whole series of rights, which the DSGVO regulates in Art. 12 - 23. These include an information right, a right of access and opposition, a right of correction, deletion and restriction, as well as data portability.

3.2.1 Right on information

Concerned persons have the right, at any time free of charge to obtain information about the information stored with us, which concern themselves; also, the purpose of the processing, the underlying categories of data, the recipient(s), the anticipated retention period. Unless there are no legal reasons, you also have the right to object at any time; insofar as this can be easily accomplished by means of our own measures, for example on a browser or computer, we will clarify this at the respective places in this data protection declaration.

3.2.2 Right of rectification

Affected persons have the right to immediately correct (and complete) data concerning them.

3.2.3 Right of erasure

The deletion of personal data takes place periodically under consideration of legal obligations.

Basically, we delete personal data whenever the processing purpose is fulfilled or there is no reason to keep it, as well as in case of cancellation.

Data from applicants with whom no employment relationship has been created will be destroyed after one year at the latest. Personal data that are exclusively related to user accounts of the online platform will be deleted at the same time when deleting the user account.

Data that you have shared with other users of the platform will also be visible after the deletion of your user account. In addition, we cannot influence how these users use such data.

If data has been processed by us unlawfully or there is a legal obligation to delete them, they must also be deleted by us.

Exceptions may exist if there is still reason for (limited) processing, such as the assertion of legal claims.

3.2.4 Right of data portability

Affected individuals have the right to receive all data provided to us in a common machine-readable format, provided the processing is based on consent or contract and the processing is done by automated procedure.

3.2.5 Right to object

Please note that data subjects have a right to object.

Affected persons also have the right to revoke previously granted consent to the processing of personal data with effect for the future.

3.3 Access data / Server log files

Every time a file is requested by those servers on which our online offers are installed, access data are stored in the log files of the respective server. Each record consists of:

• The page from which the file was requested

• The name of the file

• The date and time of the request

• The amount of data transferred

• The access status (transfer file, file not found etc.)

• A description of the type of web browser used

• Requesting Domain

• Requesting IP address, anonymized by zeroing the last two IP blocks.

The stored data are evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes and, if necessary, for the prevention of danger; a transfer to third parties, even in excerpts, does not take place.

3.4 Server location

Geographically, the servers hosting our corporate website are located in the United States.

The web host also uses a content delivery network for performance reasons, whereby its provider acts as a processor of the web host.

4. Third-party components of our online services

4.1 Web analytics with Google Analytics

Our online services use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). 4.3 Embedding of YouTube videos

This website uses components of YouTube. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to freely upload video clips and other users for free viewing, rating and commenting these videos. YouTube's operating company is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. The YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

The videos were embedded in the extended data protection mode. Like most websites, however, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses them inter alia to capture video statistics, prevent fraud, and improve usability, among other things. It will also connect to the Google DoubleClick network. Starting the video could trigger more data processing. We have no influence on that.
